Brenda Richard Obituary
DUSON - Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Brenda Leblanc Richard, age 58, who passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at 4:13 PM at her residence in Duson.
Interment will be in St. Basil Catholic Cemetery in Judice. Deacon Ken Arnaud of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church will officiate at the services.
Ms. Richard was a native of Judice, where she lived most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Basil Catholic Church in Judice.
Survivors include three sons, Randy Leblanc of Judice, Chad Simon and wife, Bridget, of Duson, Scot Simon and wife, Dana, of Broussard; two daughters, Nikki Simon and Jamie Simon Labbe and husband, Damon, all of Duson; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and one on the way; three brothers, Donald Leblanc and wife, Belinda, Rodney Leblanc and Haywood "T-Boy" Leblanc and wife, Roxanne, all of Duson; two sisters, Jeanette Hebert and Doris Dugas and husband, Ricky, all of Judice; and her former husband, Jimmy Richard of Judice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Haywood Leblanc and the former Dorothy Credeur; and one sister, Karen Leblanc.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday and will continue from 8:00 AM until service time on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Chad Simon, Damon Labbe, Darrin Bourque, Scot Simon, Ricky Dugas and Haywood "T-Boy" Leblanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Simon and Gage Labbe.
