Ray Cudges Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Church for Ray Allen Cudges, 42, who died April 25, 2017.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Chris Reis.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tamicih Cudges; four sons, Rayal Jones, Darius Broussard, Rayshawn Jones, Raylon Cudges and daughter, Shaquanna Gotch; two sisters, Roberta and Stephanie Cudges; two brothers, Paul Cudges (Barbara) and Terry Cudges and a host of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberta and Paul Cudges and two great nieces, Precious Cudges and Da'Kyrie Zeno.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at Our Savior's Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

First guy I ever had as a friend...we played marbles together..learn how to play basketball together...on a bicycle rim...then on to a goal...we went bike riding...walk to school....... Walk to the racetrack... ETC....it really broke my heart....to lose someone special..I can call a brother..I love u man...see u on other side...

I am so grateful that, I had the opportunity to work with Ray. He will always be remembered for his warm smile and kind heart. It doesn't seem real to anyone that Ray is with The Lord now. Smiling down on all who loves him family, friends, just anyone that has ever had the opportunity to met Ray. Watch over us Ray. Keep an eye on your family and friends. Ask The Lord to give your wife and children and grandchildren and family the strength to continue on with their lives. One day everyone will be together again. Rest Easy Ray. You will be missed by many.
