Shelton Cormier Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church for Shelton James Cormier, Jr., 44, who died Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Mississippi.
Services will be conducted by Pastor David Baudoin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Racheal Green Cormier; one son, Gregory Derouselle; stepdaughter, Rakisha Green; his parents, Shelton J. Cormier, Sr. and Anna Belle Frank; three sisters, Shelly Cormier, Ashley Cormier and Kayla Broussard; six brothers, Christopher "Sarge" Cormier, Roscoe David Cormier, Peter R. Laxey III, Harold Cormier, Shannon Cormier and Terrance Broussard; one stepsister, Bridgette Laxey; two stepbrothers, Brian Laxey and Byron Laxey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert "Bud" Frank and Irene Malveaux Frank and Lennis and Savenoh Cormier; uncles, Louis Frank Sr., Jessie Frank, Alton Frank, Paul Cormier and infant uncle, Joseph Earl Frank and stepfather, Peter R. Laxey, Jr.
