LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at a 2:00 PM Service in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel for Alexandra Margaret Augustat-Hunter, 18, who died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Garland, Texas.
Reverend Ann Sutton of Northwood United Methodist Church, will officiate the services. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "The Old Rugged Cross," "The Lord's Prayer," and "Amazing Grace."
She is survived by her father, Jason Hunter; her mother, Allison Abedin; her step-mother, Madelyn Hunter; two brothers, Liam Hunter and Aiden Degeyter; one sister, Gillian Hunter; paternal grandparents, Barbara and Victor Feske and Carl and Martha Hunter; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Edwin Augustat; two uncles, Matthew Feske and John Augustat; one aunt Jennifer Augustat and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Michael Augustat.
Alexandra Margaret Augustat-Hunter was born on June 21, 1994 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She attended Ovey Comeaux High School in Lafayette where she served on the Color Guard. Alexandra was a bright, kind person who always made many friends wherever she went. She loved reading, making jewelry, cooking, and Japanese Anime. Alexandra also loved music and had a lovely singing voice. She was a beautiful young lady and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE Location on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
