Alice Bourque Obituary

Funeral Services will be held at a 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for Alice Cecil Ewing Bourque, 80, who passed away on July 17, 2010 at 9:26 am at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Louis Richard, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
Ms. Bourque, a resident of Broussard, LA, was the daughter of the late Joseph Ewing, Sr., and the former Louise Savant. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She is survived by four sons, Albert Bourque and wife Cheryl, David Bourque and wife Gale, Randy Bourque and wife Sonia and Billy Bourque and wife Hope; ten grandchildren, Peggy and husband James Hart, Alison and husband Travis Mire, Dan Bourque, Drew Bourque, Derrick Bourque, Lathan Romero, Jasmine Bourque, Chris Bourque, Zack and Lauren Romero; eight great grandchildren, Trent, Bubba, Kristin, Kameron, Kaydynn, Kaylani, Kholton and Sidney and great-great grandchild Kylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis "Nap" Bourque, and a daughter Susan Marie Bourque; three brothers, Joseph, Jr., Henry and Albert Ewing and one sister, Sadonia Roseberry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Broussard on Monday from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm at the funeral home Monday evening. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Bourque, Dan Bourque, Chris Bourque, Drew Bourque, Lathan Romero, Zach Romero, Trent Bourque and Bubba Mayon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Peggy Bourque, Alison Mire, Lauren Romero, Kristen Mayon, Jasmine Bourque and Sydney Bourque.
