Brent Jade Albert

LAFAYETTE - Brent Jade Albert "In the town where he was born

Lived a man who sailed to sea

And he told us of his life…"

On November 30, 2013. He will journey in the land of submarines.

Brent was born in Lafayette on December 12, 1969. He was 43 years old. Brent was raised in Lafayette and he graduated from Northside High and he continued his education at Lafayette Regional Community College where he earned his associate degree in marketing.

Brent is survived by the mother of his two children, Virginia M. Albert and by his two amazing and talented children, Marcko Duran Albert and Jadea Salome Albert. As well as by his mother, Emily Albert LeBlanc; and his sister, Dana Albert.

"So we sail up to the sun

Till we found the sea green

And we live beneath the waves

In our yellow submarine."

Brent was a child at heart but had strong work ethics. He held an assistant store manager position at Walgreens for the past five years. He enjoyed listening to music. He loved to take long bike rides with his son, Marcko. May Markco continue to bless us with his father's character. Brent loved having long talks with his daughter, Jadea. May Jadea continue to blossom and charm us like her father.

"As we live a life of ease

Everyone of us has all we need

Sky blue and sea green

In our yellow submarine."

Funeral services will be held at Carney Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013.
