LAFAYETTE - Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Lillie Cormier Patin, 85, who passed away on December 31, 2012 at 9:00AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Entombment will take place in Calvary Mausoleum.

Mrs. Patin, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Valentine Cormier of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana and the former Edith Dupuis of Carencro, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. She had retired after 33 years of employment with Bell South and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

She is survived by three daughters; Deanna L. Patin, Cheryll Patin Richard and husband Charles R. Richard, and Glenda F. Patin; her son Glynn D. Patin and wife Rose B. Patin; her grandchildren; Glynn D. Patin, Jr., Lori Ann Patin, Caine Robert Richard, and Casey Lynn Richard; her great grandchildren, Lacey Robin, Nicholas Guidry, Bozas Guidry, Jachin Guidry, Michael Ross Richard and Colt Richard; her great great granddaughter, Carmen Meche and her grand puppies, Shu Shu and Magnum.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley T. Patin; her parents and her sister, Annie Griggs Benoit.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until service time. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Glynn D. Patin, Sr., Glynn D. Patin, Jr., Michael R. Richard, George C. Griggs, Henry O. Griggs, Jr., and Jesse B. Griggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles R. Richard and Darrell G. Patin.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Evangeline Oaks Guest House and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Dr. Charles Dugal, Judy Guillory and all the nurses and staff for their excellent care of their mother.
