Nathan N. "Boy" Falterman

FRANKLIN - Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. Nathan N. "Boy" Falterman, 95, a native and longtime resident of Franklin and resident of Lafayette, who passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at his niece's home in Lafayette. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum in Franklin. Fr. Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services.

Mr. Nathan was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the European Theatre during World War II. He retired from Sterling Sugars, after many years of dedicated service.

Survivors include his nieces, Mary Anne Rochel of Lafayette and Beth Cushman of Waterford, Michigan; nephews, Joe Schaviak and wife Betty of Fairborn, Ohio and Paul Bodin and wife Jill of Franklin; great nieces, Skye Bodin and Rochel Winn and husband John, great nephews, Blake David Cormier and wife Cesily and Pierce Bodin; great-great nieces, Payslee and Paytin Cormier; and great-great nephews, Randall and David Winn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Julianne Barrilleaux Falterman; one brother, Minus Falterman; three sisters, Anna F. Schaviak, Cecile F. Bodin and Ellie F. Rochel; and one niece, Susan Rochel Cormier.

The family would like to give special thanks to his sitters, Donna, Cookie and Norma for their excellent care given to Mr. Nathan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 12:00 PM.
