Rita Viator Obituary
LOREAUVILLE - Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Lawrence "Toblanc" Viator the former Rita Elaine Emonet at 1:00PM Thursday February 24, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday February 23, 2011 from 9:00AM to 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00AM until service time.
A native and lifelong resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Viator died Monday February 21, 2011 at 1:20PM in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Viator worked for Martin Mills for 22 years and worked for the Iberia Parish School system as a cafeteria technician for 9 years.
Survivors include her husband Lawrence "Toblanc" Viator of Loreauville; two daughters, Tammy V. Dupuy and husband Melvin of Pinehurst, Texas and Trudy V. Louviere and husband Danny "E-Boo" Louviere of New Iberia; sisters, Gloria Landry and husband Rodney of Nederland, Texas and Theresa Amy and husband Wayne of Loreauville; grandsons, Chad Viator and wife Kourtni of Bethel, Missouri, Michael Dupuy and fianc?e' Taylor of Pinehurst, Texas and Travis Dupuy of Pinehurst, Texas and her great grandsons, Kyaas Viator and Jynson Viator both of Bethel, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Placide and Rita Tauzin Emonet; her father-in-law, Ophe Viator and a great grandson, Omi Viator.
Pallbearers will be Chad Viator, Michael and Travis Dupuy and Craig, Brian and Shawn Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny "E-Boo" Louviere, Melvin Dupuy, Rodney Landry and Wayne Amy.
