LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013, at an 11:00 AM Service in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Terry Scott, age 63, who died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at his residence in Lafayette.

Reverend Chris Blanchard, Pastor of Covenant United Methodist Church in Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services.

Survivors include his wife, Christine "Chris" Flash Scott of Lafayette; his mother, Trixie Scott; one sister, Vicki Scott Dawson; one brother, David M. Scott and his wife, Elizabeth; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Lee Scott; his in-laws, Mervin and Curtis Flash of Crowley; brothers-in-law, Glenn Flash and Gilbert Dawson; and his beloved dogs, Barney Lee Scott and Fred Lee Scott.

Terry Scott was born on June 26, 1949 in Magnolia, Arkansas and was a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for 46 years. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and USL. Terry was a huge supporter of UL Lafayette and was a Tri Athlete; avid golfer and biker. He was a member of the Bonaparte Mardi Gras Krewe. Terry was employed for 25 years at Service Chevrolet and was General Sales Manager. He also worked as Manager at Courtesy Automotive for 8 years. Terry loved his family and loved his two dogs, Sidney Lee Scott and Lilly Marie Scott. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Don Cross, Adam Hebert, Daniel Cook, David M. Scott, Tom Will and Jeff Robert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay Robert and Tom Shirley.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Terry Scott's name to the or to RCAF-Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation.
