Ada Pellerin Hebert

MAURICE - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice, Louisiana for Ada Pellerin Hebert, age 85, who died on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Entombment will be in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Maurice.

Reverend Michael Keith Landry, Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Cow Island, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Johnica Hebert and Brady Comeaux. Giftbearers will be her grandchildren. Eucharistic Minister will be Kimberly Schexnayder. Tammy Lynn Maturin, organist, will sing for the services.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Woodley Hebert; her children, Robert "Bobby" Hebert and his wife Betty of Mire, John Hebert and his wife Deborah of Ridge, Shirley Comeaux and her husband, Harold of Maurice, Aaron Hebert Sr. and his wife Christine of Maurice; grandchildren, Becky, Sandy, Kimberly, Randall, Rachel, Sam, Christina, Johnica, Blaine, Brian, Brady, Benny, Aaron Jr., Karon, Katherine (KK) and Alloyn; great grandchildren, Jodi, Brook, Reba, Shelly, Ahna, Emma, Ethan, Landon, Heather, Hunter, Shawnee, Grayson, Dustin, Josh, Brett, Jude, Kaylee, Caitlin, Evan, Slade, Caden, Karol Anne and Korissa; great great grandchildren, Rayson, Kylie, Rebekah and Kayla; and two sisters, Adele Stelly and Alice D. Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Baltazar Pellerin, Sr. and the former Adele Meyers; one son, Stanley S. Hebert, Sr.; and one grandchild, Jennifer Bower.

Mrs. Hebert was born on April 17, 1929 in Scott, Louisiana and was a resident of Maurice, Louisiana. She was raised in a large family and was the youngest of seventeen children. Mrs. Hebert was a member of the VFW Post 9822 Auxiliary and the Ladies Altar Society at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Alphonsus Church. She was a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and will be sincerely missed.

Pallbearers will be John Hebert, Randall Hebert, Sam Hebert, Benny Comeaux, Aaron Hebert Sr. and Brian Comeaux.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert "Bobby" Hebert, Johnica Hebert and Aaron Hebert, Jr.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home- SOUTHSIDE.
