LAFAYETTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette for Lynn S. Landry, 84, who passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at her residence in Lafayette.

Visitation will be observed on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and resumes Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 9:00 am until the time of services, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette.

A rosary will be recited in French by her niece, Marlene LeBlanc Dore, Friday, May 30, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the Fountain Memorial Funeral Home chapel.

Interment will follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.

Father Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church in Lafayette and Father Conley Bertrand will officiate.

Lynn was born Sunday, July 14, 1929 in Youngsville, LA and was a lifetime resident of Acadiana. Lynn and her husband Bob were proud owners of Bob Landry Boat Brokers, Inc. for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. Lynn played Bourre' regularly. She was heroic in her life and passionately expressed her love through her deeds to all of those around her. Her vivacity and humor were contagious throughout all conversations. Lynn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will dearly be missed by all who knew her.

Lynn is survived by her son, Kevin Landry, of Zachary, LA; her daughter, Clare Martin and her husband, Dean of Youngsville, LA; her step-daughter, Gerry Guilbeaux and her husband, Samuel of Lafayette, LA; her step-sons, Ronald Landry and Rick Landry, of Lafayette, LA; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Landry, her father, Ulric Stoute, her mother, Levie Leleux, her brother, Charles R. Stoute, her sister, D'Ella LeBlanc and her grandsons, Adam Landry and Richard Landry.
