Frances Brignac Obituary
Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau.
Mrs. Brignac was a native of Sunset and a resident of Lafayette for most of her life.
Survivors include her husband of fifty five years, Malcolm "Jack" Brignac of Lafayette; three sons, Terrell Brignac of Houston, TX, Thomas Brignac of Maurice and David Brignac of Lafayette; one daughter, Paula Brignac Broussard and her husband, Marty, of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Mitchell Shane Brignac and his wife, Kristen, Michelle Brignac, Ian Whitefield, Brandon Brignac, Britney Brignac, Jenna Brignac, Olivia Broussard and Jack Broussard; one great grandchild, Sophia Brignac; and seven sisters, Marrella Lasley and her husband, Charles, of Sunset, Nettie Courville of Scott, Bienna Dugas, Janelle Guidry and her husband, Paul, all of Lafayette, Monique Domingue and her husband, Adonise, of New Iberia, Verna Lou Guidry and her husband, Preston, of Lafayette, Mary Louise Escavedo and her husband, Jerry, of TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Euclide Savoie and the former Marie Ledger; one son, Mitchell Brignac; six brothers, Rodney Savoie, Frank Savoie, Hubert Savoie, Floyd Savoie, Euclide Savoie, Jr. and Leroy Savoie; and two sisters, Hilda Alleman and Hazel Stelly.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Oh how I remember how clean her house was and how she always had a great meal cooked when we would stumble in from a night of fun. I will never forget the smell of clorox in her kitchen and the warm welcome she always extended to all the neighborhood friends. I will miss her forever. Jim Bob

Terrel & Dave and all your family.I so loved your mother dearly.She meant alot to me over these past 30 years. I will miss her dearly.She was the heart and soul of your family. I am so saddened to hear of Ms. Brignac's death. I remember all the hearty meals she prepared for all the teenagers who hung out with the gang. She was a sweet lady who will be missed. JimBob and Barbara Moncrief
