Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Friday, January 21, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Agnes Frederick Thibodeaux, 72, who passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The Guest Book is expired.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Ed Degeyter will conduct the services.
Agnes was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was always positive and upbeat regardless of the situation. She could always be found laughing, telling jokes and had a smile that could light up a room.
Survivors include her husband, Wilton "Zorro" Thibodeaux of Parks; her daughter, Tammy Marie Thibodeaux of Parks; her brother, Ové Frederick and his wife, Marla of Lafayette; her brother in law, Ederick Allemond of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Lilly Mae Thibodeaux and her husband, Marshall of Parks, Leona Guidry and her husband, Harris of Parks, Mazel Hebert and her husband, Jerry of Breaux Bridge, Aimee Blanchard and her husband, Leland of Parks, and Verna Boutte and her husband, Raymond of Broussard; and her grand daughter, Kayla Nicole Thibodeaux of Parks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ovey and Maria Champagne Frederick; and her sister, Lucille Allemond.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 9 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Scott Boutte, Dean Blanchard, Luke Blanchard, Ricky Albert, Tony Lasseigne, and Lawrence "DoDo" Lasseigne.
