OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 2:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Rhonda Beth Lutnes, 57, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at her residence in Opelousas. Reverend Perry Hubbs of First Baptist Church of Opelousas will conduct the funeral services. Graveside Service will be on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Richard Lutnes of Opelousas; three daughters, Rachel Johnson Mitchell of Evansville, IN, Robyn Johnson of Lafayette and Tisha Shantel Miller of Casper, WY; two sons, Billy Johnson and his wife Jennifer of Evansville, IN and Danny Lutnes of Missoula, MT; three grandchildren, Jenna Johnson, Nicholas Johnson and Bristol Ana Miller; one sister, Sue Cohen Willard; one brother, Bill Cohen; and her Godchild, Mark Alex Mouton of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend B.T. and Elizabeth Young Scrivner; and one brother, Rodney Scrivner.

A native of Evansville, IN, Beth was a resident of Opelousas for the past year and a half and lived in Lafayette for eleven years prior to that. She worked for APEX Freight and was a member of First Baptist Church of Opelousas. Beth was a loving mother, wife and friend to all who knew her. To those lucky enough to know her well, she was an angel whose warm heart and radiant smile will never be forgotten.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Lafayette location on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
