Garetino, Judith Zeller "Judy"  
Judith "Judy" Zeller Garetino, age 67, passed away on January 22, 2015. She was a native of St. James Parish and a resident of Paulina, LA. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Garetino; a son, Kirt Garetino; a daughter, Connie Brunson; brothers: Randy and Ruston Zeller, sisters: Cathy Borne and Tammy Golliday; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Elliot H. and Pearl Roussel Zeller and a daughter, Cindy Garetino Edwards. Visitation will be at Rose Lynn Funeral Home on Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a religious service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation to follow. Gauthier, Glenda Bordelon  
A native of Alexandria and resident of Gonzales, Glenda B. Gauthier passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the age of 63. Glenda was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to God and her family. She is survived by her husband, Terry J. Gauthier Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Nickie Musco Jr., Charity and Steve Marcotte, Elizabeth and Chad Istre, Sarah Gauthier, Jennifer Bourgeois; sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Gauthier Jr., David and Stacey Gauthier, Michael Gauthier; sisters, Barbara Glover, Denise Juneau, Tina Moran; brother, Stanley Bordelon Jr.; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, Patricia Bordelon and Stanley J. Bordelon Sr. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, January 26, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ken Spivey. Following, interment will be in Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales. Gautreau, Joan Ann Schexnayder  
A native of St. James and resident of Donaldsonville, Joan Ann Gautreau passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at the age of 69. She is survived by her son, Paul Gautreau; grandchildren, Amber Hand, James, Elizabeth, Isabelle, and Dillon Gautreau; brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis and Jackie, Robert and Vickie, James, Sidney and Audrey, Henry and Julia, George; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Gautreau; son, Randy Gautreau; parents, Lionel and Beatrice Labiche Schexnayder; and sister, Lucy Schexnayder. There will be a visitation at St. James Catholic Church in St. James, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Yi, celebrant. Graham, Gary "Jack"  
Gary Graham passed away at 8:01 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, at his home in Livingston. He was 64 and a native of Clinton, LA. Graveside services will be at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS, on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Survived by his son, Billy Jack Graham, grandchildren, Dillion and Logan Honea, and Brandon Phillips, niece – Tuesday Netherland, Best Friends, Amelia Dupuy and Bob Fields, His baby girl – Kaelyn Morris, Many other friends and family. Preceded in death by his mother, Nell Graham, his father, Ira Graham, brothers - Billy, Archie. Pallbearers - B.J. Graham, Bob Fields, J.J. Grayson Sr., Jeron "Bubba"  
Entered into eternal rest at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 8:32 p.m. Visitation at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, 5905 Hwy 19, Zachary, Louisiana, Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 9 am until religious service at 11am; interment at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. He was a 65 year old native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resident of Baker, Louisiana. A U.S. Army veteran, he also was a 1967 Scotlandville High School graduate and attended Southern University. He was a Licensed General Contractor and Realtor, having also worked as a Construction Worker with Local 1177, he retired as an Iron Worker with Local 623 in 1995. Survivors include his loving wife, Sonya Thomas Grayson; children, Jeron Grayson, Jr. and Sonyetta Grayson Anderson (Donnie, Jr.); several siblings; a beloved dog, Imari; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gunnels, Mamie Phillips "Evelyn"  
Evelyn passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 7:35 a.m. at the age of 95 at The Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing. She was a native of Columbus, GA, a former resident of Plaquemine, LA and mostly recently lived at Williamsburg Senior Living Community in Baton Rouge. She considered Columbus her home and spent many days fishing with her husband on the Chattahoochee River and cooking their catch. She retired from Martin Army Hospital at Fort Benning in Columbus, GA and then went on to volunteer in her church and community, with senior citizens and at River West Hospital in Plaquemine, LA. Evelyn also was talented and loved working with her hands. Among her interests were gardening, needle point, leather working, ceramics, knitting, painting and reading. Visiting will be at Grace Baptist Church MidCity, 630 Richland Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, Wednesday, January 28th from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Byron Townsend. Burial with be Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Evelyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James Ronald and Keetsie Tullier Gunnels of Port Allen; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Darrell Alexander, Edmund, OK; five grandchildren, Gretchen, Courtney, Kurt and wife Courteney, Kyle and Andrew Gunnels; and six great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Rufus Gunnels; parents, Carlos and Ola Reese Phillips; three sisters, Dorothy Kyes, Elizabeth Rabourn and Barbara Wildes; one brother, Carlos C. John Alan Graves, 44, a longtime resident of Daphne and Mobile, AL, died on January 19, 2015 at Mobile Infirmary from complications of esophageal cancer. John was born in Louisville, KY, to John Brice Graves and Monetta Moak Noland. He graduated from McKinley High School in Baton Rouge, LA, and earned a B.A. in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. John served a tour of duty in the Marine Corps in Desert Storm. He married Kim Brashear on June 25, 1994. John enjoyed history, football, church ministry, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving bride of 20 years, Kim Brashear Graves of Mobile; daughter Kayla Graves of Mobile; two sons, Brett and Devin Graves of Mobile; mother Monetta Moak Noland (Ronald) of Mobile, AL; father John Brice Graves, Jr. (Lisa) of Demorest, GA and sister Kara Graves Marino (Konan) of Charlotte, NC. Celebration of Life services will be held 11am on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Eastern Shore Baptist Church, 6847 Park Drive, Daphne, AL 36526, followed by Committal Service with honor guard at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL. Visitation will be held in the church sanctuary prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am. Green, Mary Grace David  
Mary Grace died at 2:30 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was 79. Mary was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Amite. She was a homemaker. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the recitation of the rosary at 6:30 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Visitation will continue following the Mass until 1:15 pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Mary is survived by her two daughters: Sallie G. Carrier & husband Timothy of Denham Springs, and Melinda Green of Baton Rouge; son: John R. Green of Baton Rouge; granddaughter: Emily Carrier of Denham Springs; grandson: Jonathan Carrier of Denham Springs; brother: Raymond C. David & wife Janice of Duplessis. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel W. Green, Jr.; her daughter-in-law: Vicky Lynn Green; parents: Louis E. & Madeline Major David; brothers; Dallas Leslie David, Joseph Alvin Davide; sisters: Lillian Territo, Mary Gertrude Burke and Betty Woodward. Mary was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church of Amite. Pallbearers will be her grandson, nephews and friends. Her family would like extend their thanks to the Doctors and Staff of North Oaks Medical Center SICU.

Jeanette Kugler Gainey, 79 years old, of Ponchatoula, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in the presence of her loving family and her Lord and Savior. Jeanette was born on Monday, October 28, 1935, in Ponchatoula. Jeanette was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend and will leave a void to all. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and retired after 25 year career in medical records with North Oaks Health System. She is the beloved wife of 60 years to Bobby M. Gainey; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Tommy Ladner, Sherry and Milton Hill Jr., Dawn and William Bader, and Theresa and Emery Tumulty; grandchildren, Sarah Ladner Jones and husband Josh, Matthew Ladner, Brad Hill and wife Erin, Amanda White and husband Josh, Jessica Hill, April Hill, Hannah Bader, Kyle Tumulty, and Taylor Tumulty; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Louise Bole and husband Lawrence, Rita Haydel, Merle Kugler, Audrey Brady, and Verna Price. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lelia Dufrense Kugler; 2 brothers, Izzy Kugler and Charles Kugler; and 2 sisters, Sophie Kugler and Regina Fletcher. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Friday, January 23, 2015, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula, Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery. Marie "Dot" Bourdeu Gardner entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Peter Gardner, Jr. Daughter of the late Guillaume Xavier Bourdeu and Suzanne Marie Geoffray Bourdeu. Loving and devoted mother of Joseph P. Gardner, III, Ronald M. Gardner and Gary W. Gardner (Wife Margaret "Maggie"). Grandmother of Brooke and Drew Gardner. Sister of the late Marie Louise Smith, Louis Bourdeu, Paul Bourdeu and Jeanne Hutter. Dot is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Baton Rouge since 2005. Dot worked for Boh Brothers Construction Company for 25 years until her retirement. Dot's visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6th Street, Gretna, LA, on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
