A retired service station owner and real estate broker, he passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013. He was 94, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Loreauville. He was a U.S. Army
veteran. Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 Scenic Hwy., on Monday, Sept. 16, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1565 Curtis St., on Tuesday, Sept. 17, starting at 9 a.m. There will be a reciation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., with Father Thomas Clark, celebrant. Interment in Lady of Victory Cemetery, Loreauville. Survived by two daughters, Beverly D. Francois and Angela Doucette; and grandson, Curtis J. Doucette Jr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose J. Doucette; parents, Treville and Beulah Doucette; and a son, Curtis. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul and the Knights of Peter Claver.
