Harry Joseph Bullion Jr.

Resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at his residence on February 12. Harry was a stout American serving as a Gunners Mate on the USS Flusser Destroyer during WWII where he was awarded the Victory Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon (1 Star), Asiatic Pacific (2 Stars)and American Area Ribbon. He was a devoted employee of Exxon Chemical, retiring in 1976. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Gautreau Bullion; 4 sons, Jeff Bullion of Gonzales, Kerry Bullion of Baton Rouge, Tim Bullion of Mobile and Lance Bullion of Baton Rouge; 2 sisters, Laverne Delaune, Marilyn Glindmeyer; 2 brothers, Jim and Judy Smiley Bullion, Marvin and Louise Sparacina Bullion; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Harry J. Bullion Sr and Elmire Leblanc Bullion; sister, Barnett Bullion Jenks; brother and sister-in-law, Percy and Jackie Bullion. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Friday, February 15 from 9:30 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. performed by Deacon Ed Martin, burial to follow at Prairieville Community Cemetery.
