Acosta, Helen Lundgren A retired administrative secretary for Assumption Parish Waterworks, she was entrusted to God's loving care on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in Thibodaux. She was 72, a resident of Belle Rose and a native of Thibodaux. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville will commence Thursday, July 13, from 8 a.m. until prayer service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jason Labbé officiating. Entombment in Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Mausoleum, Donaldsonville. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Joy Naquin Acosta of Belle Rose; son-in-law, Raymond Gros; two grandsons, Kent Acosta of Belle Rose and Cody Acosta of Baton Rouge; two granddaughters, Tracy Gros of Brusly McCall, and Shelly Landry and spouse Steve of Napoleonville; and two great-granddaughters, Jerilyn Landry of Napoleonville and Jordie Acosta of Belle Rose. Ms. Helen was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney Gros and Eula Lundgren Gros; husband, Jerry Acosta; daughter, Pam Gros; and son, Kent Acosta. The family extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Ruth Acosta, Celeste Walker, Joyce Cavalier, Judy Jarreau, Della Blanchard, Dr. Bolotte and the entire staff at Heritage Manor for their professionalism and compassion during this difficult time.
