A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Woodville, MS., he passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. He was 78 and a retired cement finisher. Service at Promised Land Baptist Church, Saturday, Dec. 29 at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Ted H. Bradley. Interment at Zachary Public Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Connie (Robert) Hall and Abigail (Andre) Williams; two sons, Leroy (Mable) Johnson and Arthur (Joyce) Johnson; four brothers; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Lee Johnson; his parents; and one son, James Henry Johnson.
