A retired Baton Rouge Clinic employee and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 11:25 a.m. Thurdsday, Feb.28, 2013, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 89, a native of New Orleans and a U.S. Army
veteran. Visiting at Now Faith COGIC on Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. utnil service at 11 am., conducted by Arthur Dickerson Jr. Interment in Thomas Chapel Cemetery. Survived by daughters, Brabara Crockett and Betty (Link) Moore, of Baton Rouge, and Earline (Michael) Jackson, of Dallas; sons, Arthur Crockett, of Rockport, Mass., Perry Crockett and Ivory Crockett Jr., South Boston Va., and James Young, Baton Rouge; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceed in death by his father and mother, Hosea and Belliah Rockett; daughter, Geraldine Crockett; son, Kerry Crocket; and grandsons, Billy Brown and Damon Crockett.
