Norvall Reed Clark

Norvall Reed Clark, 82, passed away on March 19, 2014. He has been a resident of the Broadmoor area in Baton Rouge since 1970. Norvall was born in Kansas City, MO, on November 27, 1931. After several moves, he made his way to Norman, OK, where he earned a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering in 1956 and met the love of his life, Joe Ann Keeley, to whom he was happily married for 58 years. He also earned a B.A. in Education and Mathematics at Phillips University. Norvall served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He worked in Tulsa, OK, Chicago, IL, and Baton Rouge, for several engineering and construction companies, contributing to the design and construction of bridges and buildings of all types, including the LA State School for the Deaf, Goudchaux's at Cortana Mall, Kenilworth School, and the Small Stock Barn and Exhibition Center at LSU. "Grandpa" is survived by his bride, "Suzie"; four children and their spouses, Wendell and Mary Clark, Dr. Susan and Dr. Terry Eades, Mike and Alisa Clark, and Keeley and Bill Dupuy; 20 grandchildren, Jeremy and Christen Clark, James and Natalie Clark, Wes Clark, Kelsey Clark, Jason Eades, Courtney Eades, Joshua Eades, Jarrett Clark, Jenna Clark, Nick Harmon, Elise Harmon, Aimee and Sam Razi, Peter and Sunny Blamphin, Brittany and Junior Mancias, and Gerad Doyal; and 6 great-grandchildren, Cooper Clark, Sarah Grace Clark, Jacob Razi, Cole Duggins, Riley Blamphin, and Aubry Doyal. Grandpa will be remembered and loved for his devotion to his bride and family and their annual trips to Gulf Shores, his support for Suzie and all the kids in their many activities and accomplishments, his love for Andrew and his many other pets over the years, and his undying if misguided love of Oklahoma University football-he was often seen in the grocery store in his crimson and cream OU jacket. He will always be a part of us.
