Ollie Jack Dillon

"I reached to the sky for the hand of GOD and was embraced on June 14, 2013". Ollie Jack Dillon, age 56, and a resident of Denham Springs, LA, died at 10:41 p.m. at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans with his family by his side. He was a retired self employed carpenter who loved the outdoors and fishing was his passion. He is survived by 2 daughters, Skyler Dillon Felter & husband Joshua Felter of Watson and Tracy New McCann of Zachary; twin sons, Jack & Ronnie Smith, Escatawpa, MS; mother, Louise Creel, Bogalusa; 1 brother, James Ray Dillon; 5 sisters, Syble Pampell & husband Kenneth Pampell, Susan Caves, Patricia Jones, Brenda Sullivan and Alice Posey & husband Donald Posey; 2 granddaughters, Charley Sky Felter & Kayla McCann; 2 grandsons, Dillon McCann & Jackson Cade Smith; 2 great grandchildren, Connor & Jordyn Gremillion. He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Ollie Dillon. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home, 1109 Bene St, Franklinton, LA after 12:00 p.m. on June 17, 2013 until the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Larry Ritchie will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be at the Haley-Warner Cemetery in Warnerton, LA. Per his request, he will be laid to rest next to his father. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Crain Funeral Home in the name of Ollie.
