Sam was born December 01, 1994. He died in a motor vehicle accident Monday, November 05, 2012, in Baton Rouge. He was a senior at Catholic High School. Sam was well known for his endearing smiles, complete with dimples, and his outgoing personality and wit that charmed all who knew him. Teachers, friends, family and the like were charmed by Sam's personality and generosity. He was a good friend to many. He was a special son to Bruce & Mary Barth. A wonderful brother to Julie and Greg Barth. A special boyfriend to Julie Nelson. And a special friend to Chase Usey and Michael Schillage. Sam is survived by his parents Bruce & Mary Barth; brother Greg Barth, his sister Julie Barth, and maternal grandparents, Henry and Betty Baker. He is also survived by his Uncle Peter & Aunt Cathy Baker, Aunt Claudia and Carl Sensi, Aunt Margaret & Uncle Paul Harbolick, and Aunt Christina Baker, Uncle Joe and Aunt Gail Barth, Uncle Brad & Aunt Leigh Barth, Uncle Jeff & Aunt Peggy Barth. Sam loved his cousins and they loved him. He is survived by his cousins Brooks & Shawn Barth, Eddie Barth & Nina Schwartz, Matt and Jay Barth, Elizabeth & Patrick Harbolick, Daniel and Andrew Sensi, Adam and Chris Baker. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph & Mary Barth; and Uncle Paul Baker. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church from 10:00am until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm, conducted by the Rev. Thomas C. Ranzino.
