Margaret Ann Rice

Margaret Ann Rice went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 25, 2012 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was 57 years old. Visiting will take place Friday, Aug. 31, from 9 a.m until funeral services at 11 a.m. at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, located at 9700 Scenic Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70811. Pastor Jesse B. Billberry will officiate the service. Margaret was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Mr. Percy and Georgia Mae Rice. She was employed with the State of Louisiana and worked at LSU Earl K. Long Medical Center for 30 years, most recently as a Hematology Supervisor. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Georgia D. Rice; her two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mrs. Glenda and James Wesley, and Valerie and Elmer Dixon. She also leaves her niece and nephews, Sharon and Kenny Jackson, Tony and Dionca Wesley, and David Wesley; 5 great nieces and nephews and a host of relatives. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Miller and Daughter Mortuary in Zachary. Donations in Margaret Rice's name may also be made to The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.
