Ronald Schexnayder Obituary

SCHEXNAYDER, RONALD Ronald Schexnayder entered into heavenly rest Saturday, June 10, 2006, at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie. He was 69, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner. He was raised by his late godparents, Rene and Odile Bourgeois. He was a member of Factory Road Hunting Club and was a U.S. Navy veteran. His survivors include his beloved wife, Rose Marie Dicarlo; three children, David Schexnayder of Lockport, Brian Schexnayder of Kenner and Karen Williams of Houma; and three sisters, Florence Dodd, Corinne Dennis and Helene Reynaud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Marie Williams Schexnayder; and a brother, Joseph Schexnayder Jr. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St., Paulina, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13. Friends and relatives of the family are invited for visitation at the church after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher.

To Rosie and Family,I worked with Ronnie for several years and he was a very nice person.I never did get my rabbit from him but that was ok.My prayers go out to you in this time of great loss. I will truly miss him very much. God grant you peace and love and compassion.God Bless, Linda Burrell
