Albert Charles Marvin Bellevue born Easter Sunday in the little village of Milneburg (New Orleans) April 20, 1919 passed away on July 10, 2013 at the age of 94. He resided in New Orleans for 23 years, and was a resident of Metairie since 1950. Albert had many accomplishments, which included graduating from Samuel J. Peters High School in New Orleans. He served as a Technical Sergeant in the Army Ground Forces in Washington D.C. during WWII. He began his art career from graduating at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL and became an advertising and fine artist at several firms. He was a Charter Member of Louisiana Watercolor Society, a member of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, the East Bank Golden Age Clubs, Eta Tau Sigma Fraternity (Dragons), Firemen's Charitable and Benevolent Association and American Legion Post No. 175. Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Myer Bellevue for 25 years. Father of Melanie Bellevue Deville (Lee) and Kathy Bellevue Sweeney. Son of the late Edward John Bellevue and Pauline Kokemor Bellevue. Grandfather of Ronald Barattini, Jr. (Veronica) and Nicholas Sweeney. Great Grandfather of Kaila, Ronald III, Andrew and Peyton Barattini. Brother of the late Edward Bellevue, Sr. (the late Flores 'Shirley'). Uncle of Bonnie Bellevue Way and Edward Bellevue, Jr. (Barbara). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Service in the Chapel of L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
