Clarence Raye Cook passed away Tuesday evening, March 19, 2013. He was 79 years old and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired deputy sheriff of the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Visiting will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd, on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5pm till 9pm. Graveside service will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park at 2pm on Saturday March 23, 2013. He is survived by four sons, Allen Cook and wife Mary of Belton, Missouri, William Cook, John Cook and Calvin Cook, all of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren Allen Cook Jr. and wife Kelsey, Roxanne and husband Darren Cappleman, David Cook and wife Rebecca and Debbie and husband Lance Wagner; and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Billie Jean Cook, a brother, Melton Cook, a sister Angie Cook and his parents, John Allen Cook and Rubie Baker Cook.
