Age 81 and a resident of Albany, Coach passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a retired school teacher and coach as well as a member of Old Zion Baptist Church. He was an inspiration to many and will live forever in the hearts of all who knew him. Coach leaves behind his loving wife, Tlitha Wagner; his son, Lowell Claude Wagner; son-in-law, Willie Byron Comish; sister, Verna Wagner Honea; brothers, Clayton, Lawrence and Charles Wagner. He is also leaves behind his grandchildren, Dr. Carli Nesheiwat, Jill Fazende, Heather Wagner and Holly Wagner; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Emma, Caroline and Carson Fazende, Adam, Claire Nesheiwat, Conner Wagner and Chase Wagner. Preceding Coach in death were 4 children, Denise Lynn Wagner Comish, Dennis Wagner, Jr., Jana Lea Wagner, Rhonda Gail Wagner; 1 great-grandchild, Cameron Adam Beck; 3 brothers, Claiborne, Leslie and Elbert "Bobby" Wagner; 1 infant sister and his parents, Riley Claude Wagner and Mary Elizabeth Wagner. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Rev.
