Edward "Eddie" Joseph Falgoust Jr. of Baton Rouge, was escorted home by angels on Friday, August 2, 2013 at his home at the age of 65. Eddie was born in Algiers and a resident of Baton Rouge for 20 years. He was the devoted husband to Christine Tujague Falgoust for 36 years and the beloved father of Deborah Falgoust Clexton and husband, Paul, and Edward Joseph Falgoust III and wife, Rebecca. He is survived by his mother Helena Barrileaux Falgoust, brother Michael Falgoust, and sister Felicia Bonnett. He was also the beloved grandfather of 4 grandchildren: Brett, Brice, and Brian Clexton, and Avery Falgoust. Preceded in death by his father Edward Falgoust, Sr. Eddie worked in the financial industry and served as a Warrant officer in the Army. He graduated from Holy Cross High School and Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He was an avid member of the Lions Club serving as president twice, served on the Lions Club Eye Foundation Board, a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, served on the DECA board, was treasurer of the Azalea Lakes Home Owners Association, and a diehard LSU fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00AM at Most Blessed Sacrament, 15615 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, LA 70817 conducted by Father Phil Spano. Visitation is at the church from 9:30AM until Mass time. Donations in memory of Edward Falgoust should be given to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
