Norman passed away on Saturday, June 22 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Mid-City at the age of 60. He was a graduate of University High School, attended Louisiana State University and Southeastern University in Hammond. As a self-taught tennis player at the age of 16, he competed against older age divisions winning many tournaments throughout the South. He is survived by his siblings Leah Sullivan Price, Ewell Kent Sullivan, Maxie Sullivan Laville (husband Parky); Ewell's daughter Mariah; Maxie's children Leighton, Parker, Caroline, and Grace. He is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Maxie Mae Griffon Sullivan, sister Marian Sullivan and Godparents Rosa Ewell McMillan and George G. Griffon, Jr. A special thanks to family friend Beverly Gladney, M.D., Baton Rouge General Critical/Cardiac physicians and nurses for their tireless efforts, and Seaside Outpatient Services.
