Frances Elizabeth Bolling - wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away quietly to the Lord on December 24, 2013 with her children present. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her three children, Pete Laguens and his wife, Dana, and their children; Deborah Laguens and her child; Douglas Laguens and his children; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Nix and her children; and two stepchildren, Bob Bolling, LaNoe Westheimer, their spouses and children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Joe Farrar, a brother, Dr. Robert Lewis Farrar, and a sister, JoAnn Guinn. Frances graduated from Louisiana State University and taught elementary school for many years in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She and Tom lived in Houston for a number of years and enjoyed their time with their families and many friends. They had recently relocated back to Houston from Baton Rouge, where she and Tom were active in the Jefferson United Methodist Church and the Village Woods Retirement Community. A Memorial Service will be held on January 11, 2014 at 10:00 am at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
