Gerard B. Nevle, Jr. passed away December 6th after a 3 year long battle with interstitial lung disease. He was the loving husband of Pamela Bruno Nevle, father of Brad Joseph Nevle and Evette Elaine Nevle Mabry and proud grandfather of Waylon Wilson Mabry. He was the son of deceased Florence May Lacoste Nevle and Gerard B. Nevle and brother of deceased Lionel, deceased Lawrence and John Nevle. He was the son-in-law of Joseph Bruno and loving brother-in-law of Tiffiny Clark and Stephanie Bruno. Gerry was a licensed General Contractor and owner of NEVCO who specialized in historic renovation in the Garden district and the French Quarter. He was a lifelong resident of Chalmette until hurricane Katrina when he relocated to Albany, LA. He was a graduate of Chalmette High School, St. Bernard Community College and Louisiana Commercial and Residential Contracting School. He served his country in the Vietnam War and was an avid fisherman and a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan. According to his wishes there was a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army.
