Jeanne Yvette St. Amant Harvey died suddenly at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, at the age of 67, following a brief illness. As the daughter of a career army officer, Yvette attended schools in Germany, Kansas City, North Carolina and Baton Rouge, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1964, and subsequently attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She worked as a legal secretary and was a mother and wife, daughter, sister and aunt. Yvette is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Randall Harvey, of Baton Rouge; a son, Paul Joseph Phillips, of Santa Monica, California; her parents, LTC (USA, Ret.) Phil A. St. Amant, Sr. and Corinne L. St. Amant, of Baton Rouge; two brothers: COL (USA, Ret.) Philemon A. St. Amant II and wife Harriet, and Alexis A. St. Amant II and wife Floris; and by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Paul Phillips, and by her sister, Suzanne St. Amant Carson. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government Street) from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, 8 December, and again from 10:00 A.M. on Monday, 9 December, until religious service at 11:00, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park.
