Benjamin Lindsey, a native and resident of Zachary, LA passed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 23, 2O13. He was 26 years old. Benjamin loved and praised the Lord and through his faith embraced his family and life. He was employed by EXCEL and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Benjamin was a loving and compassionate father, son and friend. His gleaming smile will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Visitation and Services will be held at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary. Visitation will be Monday, February 25th from 5 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, February 26th beginning at 9 am until Services at 10 am, conducted by pastor Timmy Straight. Burial will immediately follow services at Azalea Rest Cemetery. Benjamin is survived by his parents Molly and Benjo Lindsey of Zachary and his sister Ashley Lindsey and her fiancé, Minesh Patel. Niece and nephews; Alexus, Michael, Eric and Drew of Central. Grandparents Leon and Mary Causey of Zachary. The girl who captured his heart; his beautiful baby daughter, Kylah Lindsey, her brothers Ryan and Peyton and their mother Lacey Roberts. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Al Caravalho, Mildred Lindsey and friend Justin Poissot. Pallbearers will be Jason Causey, Calvin Corey, Hunter Crowder, Travis Hebert, Corey Junneau, Colby Marks, Matt Martin and Wade Tyler. Honorary pallbearers will be Minesh Patel, Coleman Drane, April Lacoste, Chad, Crystal and Judd Obeidzinski.
