Bennie Douglas McInnis, Jr., 37, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013. Bennie was a loving husband, devoted father, brother, son and friend. He was the owner of Bayou Innovations. He will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Visitation will be at his place of worship, Live Oak United Methodist Church, Watson, on Wednesday, June 19, from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Mark Crosby. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. He is survived by his wife, Janelle H. McInnis; sons, Christian McInnis, Carl Doescher, Jacob McInnis and Braydon McInnis; parents, Bennie, Sr. and Kelly McInnis; sisters, April Marcellon and Ashley Keown; brother, James McInnis; and aunt, Elizabeth McInnis. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Samuel McInnis. Bennie was very involved and supportive of the Wounded Warrior Project and donations may be made in lieu of flowers.
