Bernice passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, June 10, 2013 at Plaquemine Caring at the age of 93. She was a homemaker, resident of Plaquemine and a native of White Castle, La. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6 to 8:30pm and will resume on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 8am until Rite of Christian Burial at 10am, conducted by Father Cleo Milano. Interment Grace Memorial Park. She is survived daughters, Brenda Ann Sevier, Sheila Sevier and Darlene Sevier, all of Plaquemine; Son, Earl Sevier, Jr., Baton Rouge; Daughter in law, Brenda Boudreaux Sevier, Texas. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, Frank Sevier and wife Melissa, Darren Sevier, Shawn Sevier and wife Carolina, Tammy Hoorman and husband Stephen, Ed Case and wife Jennifer, Stephen Case and wife Lori, Vicky and Becky Case, Heather Engelhardt and husband Rob, Brittany Beltram and husband Gianmarco, Joshua Hamilton and wife Rachel, Joe Hamilton and wife Jamie, John and Mary Hamilton, Emily Bradford and husband Terry, Michelle Griffith and husband Nick, Nancy Theriot and Caroline Middleton; and 42 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband, Earl L. Sevier, Sr.; Son, Wayne Sevier; Parents, Alex, Sr. and Evela Richard Dugas; Sisters, Anna Lee Dupree, Ella Whaley, Ida Olivier, Irene Olivier, Mae Rodrigue and Netla Blanchard; Brothers, Alvin "Boog" Dugas, Cleveland Dugas and Alex "Sonny" Dugas, Jr. Pallbearers will be Frank and Shawn Sevier, Ed and Stephen Case, Joshua, Joe and John Hamilton, Michael and John Blanchard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Sevier, Earl Sevier, Jr., Darren Sevier and Joshua Hamilton. She was a loving and caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother who always had an open door to her family.
