Bone, Cecil Murphey A retired Louisiana State Police trooper, he died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Westchester Gardens Nursing Home, Clearwater. Fla. He was 90, born Feb. 10, 1916, and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Brookhaven Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Miss., on Friday, Feb. 24, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Service at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin County, Miss. Survived by his spouse, Mabel Bone, Oldsmar, Fla.; son, Norman Bone, New Port Richey, Fla.; grandsons, Norman II, Mark and Robert Bone; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Hines Nathinel Bone and Martha Hipt Bone; and brother, Fred Bone. He was a Mason, Scottish Rite shriner and a member of New Salem Baptist Church, McCall Creek.
