A native of Norwood and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was 68 and a Retired Floor Mechanic and Tile Specialist. Visiting at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday April 27 from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Charles Allen. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Cherry Ann Harris Robins; daughters, Symetress Katrena Bates, Stacy Lewis and Shannien Lewis; sons, Cleveland Andre' Robins and Melchizedek Demond Robins; sisters, Estelle Dunn, Edna Cannon, Albertha Posey, Naomi Banks; brothers, Pervis Robins, William Robins, Willie Robins; grandchildren, Quenton Robins, Cleveland Robins, Carmen Robins, Chyna Robins, Shawn Bates, Jr., Jebari Lewis; and great grandchild, Kaden Dewayne. He was preceded in death by his parents Hezekiah and Albertha Robins, seven brothers and one sister.
