Babin, Clifford Victor, a resident of Baton Rouge, native of Clinton, La born on February 6, 1924 died on September 21, 2013. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:30 am conducted by Rev. Joel Willson, Rev. Jimmy Babin and Rev. Harold Babin followed by at 1:00 pm graveside service at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, LA. He is survived by his twin brother, Dr. Claude H. Babin of Monticello, AR and Rev. Harold B. Babin and wife Patricia of Zachary, sister in law, Marion "Paps" Comeaux of Denham Springs, Nephews, Hunter Babin and wife Joyce of Little Rock, AR, Cliff Babin and wife Johnnie, Jimmy Babin and wife Marlene and Bobby Babin and wife Janet all of Zachary, Edward S. "Sandy" Comeaux and wife Lene of Baton Rouge, and R. Keith Comeaux and wife Eliska of Lakeland, LA, nieces, Brenda Triche and husband Glenn and Linda Stovall and husband Greg both of Zachary and Sherry Comeaux of Denham Springs and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cliff Babin, Jimmy Babin, Bobby Babin, Hunter Babin, Justin Triche, Sandy Comeaux and Keith Comeaux. Honorary pallbearer is Ward Reilly. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Ruth C. "Sis" Babin, parents, Mr. and Mrs. V.V. Babin, In laws, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Comeaux, Sr. and sister in law, Barbara Babin. He was a US Marine Veteran of WWII-South Pacific, devoted to his Lord and Church, thru teaching Sunday school and service, he was a charter member since April 28, 1957 of New Life Church of Baton Rouge (Laurel Lea Baptist Church). He was a retired operator from Exxon Refinery with 35 years of service and member of Odd Fellows Lodge #7 of Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to or church.
