Dolcey Tangarife Obituary

Dolcey Tangarife passed away peacefully in his Baton Rouge home Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at age 79. Dolcey Tangarife was born on June 29, 1930, in Manzanares, Caldas, Colombia, South America. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Friday, Nov. 13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Catholic Church, 10064 Kinglet Drive, by the Rev. Rafael Juantorena at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. Entombment in the church mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Ana Beatriz Tangarife; two sons, Henry Tangarife and Alberto Tangarife; six daughters, Gloria Tangarife, Gladys Gonzalez, Martha Guerrero, Janeth Cook, Jessica Rainey and Zoraida Berrio; three sisters, Floralba Tangarife, Nohry Aguilar and Luz Dary Garcia; and 15 grandchildren. Dolcey was preceded in death by his parents; Angel and Sofia Tangarife. Pallbearers will be Henry Tangarife, Alberto Tangarife, Albert Tangarife, Andrew Tangarife, David Guerrero and Peter Tangarife.
