A homemaker, she died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 86 and a native of Rose Pine. Visitation at St. Luke Baptist Church, 240 Van Buren St., on Saturday, Jan. 3, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., officiated by Gus Washington, pastor. Burial in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by two daughters, Willie Mae Molix, Dallas, and Linda Vincent, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Bennie Jones, Chicago, and Eddie Ransom, Derrider;. brother, Wilbon Stewart, Chicago; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Junius Ambeau; parents, five brothers, four sisters, two sons and a daughter. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Arrangements by Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home.
