Sister Emma Jean Harton Maxwell also known as "Jeannie" was born on October 1, 1930 to J. C. and Beatrice Harton Sparkman in Liberty Mississippi. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized in McComb Mississippi. She met Thomas Robinson, Sr. in Gloster, Mississippi in the 1940's. They were later united in Holy Matrimony. Thomas Robinson, Sr. preceded her in death. Two sons Thomas and James Robinson who also preceded her in death. Jeannie later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she worked as a housewife for 25 years. Jeannie then married her second husband Milton Maxwell who preceded her in death in the 1980's. She leaves to cherish her memories 2 grand daughters; Valerie S. Randall and Carolyn B. Reddiex. 1 God son; William Yancy "Baldy". 5 Great grandchildren; Corey, Tamara, Kevin, Ashley and Jasmonique. 5 Great great grandchildren Dylan, DeAndre, Caleb, Thaj and Tamari. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00am at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9:00am.
