BABIN, EURLINE ORY A resident of Lutcher for 51 years, she died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Riverland Health Care Center. She was 94, born Dec. 13, 1909, in Mount Airy. She was a retired employee of the late Dr. A.J. Nobile for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Gustave L. Babin; mother of Marilyn B. Borne and her husband, Edward, and Doris "Dot" LeBlanc and her late husband, George; sister of Mable and Ernestine Ory, Scolastie St. Pierre, Jenny Lemoine and Raymond Ory; grandmother of Lenny and Ricky LeBlanc, Ann Hebert, Jane Copponex, Keith Borne and Brenda Borne Verret; great-grandmother of Chad, Cody, Len and Ken LeBlanc, Brandon Duhon, Natalie San Andres, Jonathan, Joni and Jena Copponex, Jeannie Louque, Aime Landreneau, Eric Claire and Kevin Borne; and great-great-grandmother of Lawrence Anderson III, Reghan San Andres, Connor Louque, Jacob Landreneau and Cain LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Emilien and Louisa Ory; two sisters, Eva Gauaut and Ida Smith; two great-grandchildren, Tricia Copponex and Angie Duhon; and a great-great-grandchild, Reece San Andres. Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, until time of service. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum. She has gone to meet the love of her life in heaven, Gus Babin, who made her happy in the years they were married. H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, in charge of arrangements.
