A resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. He was 49. Visiting will be at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Monday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. until a memorial mass at 11 a.m. celebrated by Father Phil Spano. Survived by his wife, Amy Dalton, and their children, Emma and Hagan; parents, Gene Dalton Jr. and Norma Driskill Ehrhardt; sister, Lisa Ortego; nephew and niece, Andrew and Leigh Morgan Ortego; and grandmothers, Stella Dalton and Myrtle Driskill. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gene Dalton Sr. and Ira Driskill. He was a graduate of USL and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. His most precious time was spent celebrating with family and friends. He loved the out-doors, golfing and fishing. If preferred, the family requests donations to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
