Henry Lloyd "Ry" Decuir, 67, loving husband, father, and grandfather, returned home on June 15th. He is safe in the Faith to which he devoted his life. Born July 31, 1945, Henry spent his life in the Baton Rouge area and recently retired as the Human Resource Director of Flowers Baking Company. He was a proud veteran of the Air Force and a member of the Knights of Columbus. The Eucharistic Ministry at St. Aloysius Catholic Church received Henry's time and devotion for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking, painting and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jenell Hubbs Decuir and his 3 children, Christopher D. Decuir and his wife Bess, Ruston, LA, Claire Decuir Loft and her husband Michael, Houston, TX, and Laura D. Moran along with 5 grandchildren, Garrett, Jack Henry, and Carter Decuir; Anna Catherine and Henry Loft, and his sister, Patricia Dubiel, Tampa Florida, and nieces, Wendy Kaminsky and Rainie Kochs. brother-in-law Terry Hubbs and wife Betty and brother-in-law, Guy Riché and nieces Barbin Riché Lewis, and nephew Andrew Riché. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry L. Decuir, Jr and Augusta Bayhi Decuir, Alvin L Hubbs and Lula M Hubbs, and a sister-in-law Madelene Hubbs Riché. Visitation will be at St. Aloysius Church on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 9AM until Memorial Mass at 11:00, celebrated by Rev. Than Vu. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to St. Aloysius Catholic Church building fund, 2025 Stuart Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
