Born on July 27, 1943, in Ville Platte, John passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of USL and Medical School and University of Guadalajara with medical residency at LSU Earl K. Long Medical Center. He served as a medical consultant in private and public practice. He is survived by a son, John Hadley Jr., his spouse and their two children; and his daughter, Samantha Andrepont, her spouse and two children. John is also survived by friends, John Rougeau, of Ville Platte, Scott Medine and Allen and Joan Medine, who supported him with great care through his extended illness. John was preceded in death by his parents, John Hadley and Cyrus and Alice Foret; and his two brothers, T.L. Hadley and Donny Foret. Visitation at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, 5354 Plank Road, on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m., celebrated by Monsignor Gerald Lefebvre. Inurnment will follow at a later date. Special appreciation is given to Dr. Kenneth Kleinpeter, Dr. Cullen Hebert, Dr. Mark Kantrow and Dr. Gene Thompson and the nursing staffs at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
