A resident of New Roads, he died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at his sister's home. He was 55 and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at St. Peter Baptist Church, 9109 Tunica Trace, St. Francisville, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr. Olton A. Scott. Interment in Louisiana National Cemetery. Survived by his five sisters, Eudora Johnson, Baton Rouge, Jean Boudreaux and husband Lionel, New Roads, Joyce Jones and husband Robert, St. Francisville, Linda Jarvis, Gonzales, and Brenda Anderson, Milwaukee, Wis.; three brothers, Alfred Munson and wife Evelyn, and Mark Munson and wife Sedonia, all of New Roads, and James Munson and wife Carolyn, Baton Rouge; four aunts, seven uncles, two great-aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
