Lynwood Stafford, Jr. passed away at 9:45 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 49 after a courageous fight with lung cancer. He was a resident of Walker and was a Superintendant with Stafford Construction. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume Monday, February 24, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs from 9:30 AM until recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM conducted by Father Frank Uter. Burial will be at Walker Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Lynwood, Sr. and Andrea Aydell Stafford; By the loves of his life, his precious daughters, Irelyn and Savanah Stafford; two sisters, Sheila Stafford Abbott and husband Kenny and Sherri Stafford Palmer and husband Bryan; nieces, Amber and Megan Abbott and Lyndsey and Bailey Palmer; paternal grandmother, Aline Roux Stafford; special lifelong friend, Tootie Robinson. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Adolphus Stafford; maternal grandparents, Bill and Sue Aydell. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs and attended the Sacred Heart Mission.
