A draftsman and resident of Denham Springs, he died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 67 and a native of Monroe. Service at Faith Apostolic Church on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m., conducted by Brother Marlin Arceneaux. Survived by his mother, Louise Thomas Scott; father, Raymond Kenneth Scott; daughters, Brandy Scott Blount, Deirdre Scott Newsom, Shelby Scott Price, Lacey Scott Stermer, and Jaime Scott Kunkle; sisters, Judy Scott Caldwell, Rebecca Scott Braun, Pamela Jean Scott; 13 grandchildren; and good friend and former wife, Bee Armstrong. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Raylynn Alaine Hagan.
